KreativBox and more | Alexandra Renke

hi everyone, it´s me and i have some new pages to share…
the first one was made with some pretty new collections from Alexandra Renke! You should check them out, full of bright colors, cute birds, butterflies and pretty bugs!!

i used a new bug stencil, different papers (Herbst Bugs, Herbst Bugs Pattern, Herbst Kakadu and Herbst Schmetterlinge Pattern) and the new 6×6 Kois & Libellen papers.

the new washi tape with the bugs is one of my favorite pieces!! i sticked it to white cardstock so that i can easily move them around and use them as a little die cut.

the next layout was created with the KreativBox from september! there are also some papers from the new collections included. I started with some fussy cutting! i really love to cut out the pretty designs. it always take some time but it´s totally worth it

i also used some Alexandra Renke Dies to create my background. I created the word Geburtstag with three different papers and layered them over my mixed media background. i wanted to have the tone on tone look… i stitched the words down and i love how it looks!

the last word Geburtstag was glued together three times and i also added a layer of clear embossing powder. i love it!

that´s it for today.
the Alexandra Renke store is open again and there are so many new things and a pretty new design! go and have a look RIGHT HERE!

SommerProjekt | Alexandra Renke

Hi everyone, today i want to share a new project with you. Alexandra Renke started a fun new project group for this summer. Each of us created a little summer kit, which can be found in the store, and we were asked to create a project with that selfmade kit…

My kit was filled with some awesome water themed papers, embossing powders, a die, sequins and some other pretty things…

I was so focused on the making and my head was full of thinking and planning, that i totally missed to use the stencil and the texture paste…. but, this is was i´ve made with my little summer kit…

sommerprojekt-jana (1)

a ocean scene with a little 3D boat and a mermaide! i am totally in love and i am totally into trying new things, playing with dimensions and new techniques.

I started this project with fussy cutting, die cutting and heat embossing. I knew that i wanted to create a two toned background for my scene…

sommerprojekt-jana (2)

i love that lower cluster with all of the different fishes and plants. The papers i picked were all based on the stuff i can fussy cut, crazy, right?! i love to create my own embellishment with the designs from the papers.

sommerprojekt-jana (3)

Look at them, they are all totally adorable, right? the bubbles were made with sequins and i mixed both embossing powders to create a mixed color for the corals… i love the pop of orange/brown/copper!

sommerprojekt-jana (4)

I had the idea for the 3D boat as i looked through my pictures and the mermaid was just perfect, sitting in it and starring at the photo. everything worked so well.

hallo ocean | alexandra renke

hi everyone, i have a new layout for you… this one includes some handstitching on Alexandra Renke paper from the June KreativBox, paper quilling again, such a great effect! I used a wavey cutfile from the silhouette store (design ID19372) and some ocean inspired colored cardstock… the stripes are ca. 1/4″

the cute ‚curious octopi‚ Die is also available in the ARenke Store, i heat embossed them with a WOW! powder, called ‚Hero‚ (it was included in the KreativBox) the background was created with some magical powders ‚whale watch blue‚ and ‚shabby turbine teal

the word ‚hallo‚ is also a Renke Die, i love that font! i mixed a german and a english word, but i am fine with that. the little enamel dots are just a touch of the same color as the octopi… i thought that would connect everything together…

i used the same patterned paper (title) behind my picture, but also added some tissue paper. I really LOVE how this one turned out, please check out my YouTube Channel if you want to watch the process video! thanks!

thanks you so much for stopping by today

dream | alexandra renke

hi everyone, i have a new layout for you.
i really love how this one turned out, i really love the simplicitiy and the „silence“…

i started here with a cool medium, called „Tacky-when-dry“ and this stuff is awesome…
the stencil i used is ‚Lotus Ornament‚ and the foil is used on top is from therm-o-web – iridescent irisado!

The papers i used are the following: ‚Green&Blue Eukalyptus‚ ‚Herzen Liebe‚ and ‚Hortensien in Schale‚ (the small piece i layered behind the picture). The Die behind the picture called ‚Delicate Sea Fan‚ and was heat embossed with Sea Salt WOW! embossing powder – included here in this awesome set

my background was created with two Magical Powders from Lindy´s Stamp Gang… i really love to play with these powders and the powders i used today are ‚Whale watch blue‚ and ‚Frolic in the forest green

the word dream and the little dark blue dots are foam thickers from Shimelle. I also added some thread behind the heart and some TIm Holtz tiny word stickers… they are always perfect for some tiny last details. i enjoyed this process and i love this layout!

I have a process video up on my YouTube Channel – CLICK HERE! thank you!

adventure | paige evans & silhouette

Hi everyone, i am back again and I have a new layout for. For this page I used the Flower Wreath Cut File and some bits from the new Horizon and the Whimsical Collection.

I started with making the cut file smaller and cut the Flower Wreath on white Cardstock. I backed the open flowers with Paper No.09 from the Horizon Collection and the leaves with Paper No.01 and 05 from the Whimsical Collection.  I wanted to add some mixed media to my Background and I started with a stencil and my favorite Texture paste. Once that was dry I grabbed some Magical Powders for some pretty colors. I decided to go with pink and a tiny touch of mint.

The background turned out great and I placed the finished Flower Wreath on top of it. I grabbed the Flower Embellishment Pack from the Whimsical Collection to add some more. I also had a look into the Mixed Floral Embellishments from the Horizon Collection. I placed three more flowers on top of the Wreath; I really like how this is looking. The picture shows the dogs from my best friend and they are the cutest. I used a Paper from the 6×6 Paper Pad and some tissue Paper behind the photo.

I fussy cut some matching words from Horizon Paper No.04 for my title. I also mixed a Chipboard Sticker word from the Whimsical Collection to it. The final touches were some chipboard Hearts and some Stickers. I placed everything near the picture and I am totally in love with this project

I really hope you´re inspired to use a Flower Wreath Cut File very soon. I had so much fun and please, be sure to check out Paige´s cut files for ideas and inspirations. I always get ideas and I always find a perfect cut file for my next project! Thanks so much for stopping by and I wish you all a great day

hallo happiness | Alexandra Renke

hi everyone, i have a fun new layout for you… i´ve told you already that i´ve met Alexandra Renke and some of the Design Team at the creativa, back in march, right?!
Today i decided to scrap two pictures from one of the days. It shows me, Kerstin, Judith, Andrea and Alexandra! I loved the time so very much and i miss talking to the creative ladies daily…

i started this project with a design paper and my small scissors… i wanted to fussy cut aaaaall of the pretty flowers!! they are SO awesome! I also used a cut file from Paige Evans for my background, just a small detail, peeking out from behind… i really love how the white on white looks!

There are some matching splatters around the cut fiel and the flowers. they are matching the watercolors perfectly… colors i used: summer lovin‘ sun, orange creamsicle, pretty in pink pink, salt water taffy and cape cod coral!

The word ‚hallo‚ is a new die and embossed it with a powder from WOW! called ‚Metalline Flame Regular‚ and i love it!

the stamp set is also from Alexandra and i really love how versatile it is… it was just perfect to finish this layout. I really love how it turned out and i hope you´ll like it too!

I used the ‚eukalyptus äste‚ die for white details/leaves… the pink small branches are made with the ‚frühlingszweig‘ and i love the small pink accents…

happy spring | alexandra renke

hi everyone, i have a new layout to share! i used some pretty Alexandra Renke things for this project and i really love how it turned out. The patterned papers from AR are perfect for fussy cutting, but that is nothing new to you, right?

I started here with fussy cutting some purple leaves and the cute little fawns… i also punched some scalloped boarders from different papers (1, 2, 3 and 4) and added wonky tissue paper ones, too. I wanted to layer a lot of things on this page… and i did!

The paper with the little hearts is so cute and perfect for little details. the word happy, above the word spring, is from a ‚happy easter typo‘ Die and it looks perfect there… the tiny word stickers are all from Tim Holtz and guess what i used for the pretty background?! Yes, you´re right… magical powder from Lindy´s!

The word ’spring‘ comes from a big alpha set from American Crafts and it brings the colors from the fawns again and i love how it looks on top of the scallop boarders. i stitched everything together and i did not cut off the thread ends. I love the extra texture!

i am SO in love and i really hope you like it too! i also have a process video for this one and if you want to watch it… please feel free to CLICK HERE!

thank you so much for stopping by today

the word ’spring‘ was stamped with the awesome ‚Sans Serif Alphabet‚ stamp set… i love that font!! the striped heart is from this awesome patterned paper
