[werbung]

hi there, welcome back… i have new layout to share! I created this one with two new collections from Alexandra Renke „Autumn Colors“ and „Wild & Calm Basics

robmeer-ar1

I am having a rough time (seriously hard…) i can´t even find the right words to describe what´s going on…. but today i felt something like hope! so i grabbed some pretty things to get it even more outside, sounds pretty weird, right?! nevermind… enough nonsense from me!

robmeer-ar2

i started this layout with blue papers, design papers for fussy cutting and die to get some pretty things out of white cardstock! the picture shows my middle one, ten years ago.. having the best of times at the beach/ocean! i miss that time, so much!

robmeer-ar4

i layered everything pretty close to the picture and in the lower right corner, i love how it looks… i also punched out some tiny hearts from the same blue papers and placed them on top. i love the tone on tone look!

that´s it!

[werbung]
hi everyone, i have a new layout for you… this one is for the august challenge at the pinkfresh studio blog

justus3

We were also asked to use stitching for this project… i have not used any adhesive here, i stitched all of the things down… but i also did some handstitching on colored hearts

justus1

i played with the liquid watercolors and the „just a little lovely“ collection, i really love this collection! the watercolors are perfect for mixed media and for stunning color blending backgrounds.

justus2

the puffy sticker alphas and titles are some of my favorite pieces!! the colors are awesome! I colored the little hearts in the same colors like the background and i also used some matching thread for my handstitching!

that´s it! i love it and i hope you´ll like it too

hallo pinguin | alexandra renke

[werbung]
hi there and welcome back to my blog, i haven´t posted in a while but life is busy and sometimes my days are not long enough…

to day i want to share a fun new layout for the Alexandra Renke team and i am working with august KreativBox.

HalloPinguin1

I decided to work with a grid design today, just because of the busy patternes… the square are 2×2 and i really love how it turned out. I distressed all of the egdes and added a layer of acrylic texture paste to calm down some of the patternes. I also wanted to bring in a lot of mixed media… there is a stencil image on top of the papers too.

HalloPinguin2

I used Magicals for my background – „Whale Watch Blue“ „Lucky Shamrock Green“ and „Afternoon Delight Denim“ – some of my favorites!! The little turquoise dots „India“ are a nice touch and they are matte… so cute!

HalloPinguin3

The word „Hallo“ is a Die and used it double and i also heat embossed it with a mix from two WOW! embossing powders… „Earthtone Pepper“ and „Metallic Copper Super Fine

HalloPinguin4

there are some vellum corals behind the picture and some other little DieCuts scattered around everywhere… but i can´t link you to them right now… but i will when they´re online…

HalloPinguin5

some sequins and paper quilling tears/drops to finish this layout. I really love how it turned out and i hope you´ll like it too.. check out my YouTube Channel for a process Video. thanks for stopping by today

SommerProjekt | Alexandra Renke

[werbung]
Hi everyone, today i want to share a new project with you. Alexandra Renke started a fun new project group for this summer. Each of us created a little summer kit, which can be found in the store, and we were asked to create a project with that selfmade kit…

Juli_Som,mer_Aktionkachel

My kit was filled with some awesome water themed papers, embossing powders, a die, sequins and some other pretty things…

materialkit-jana-sommerteam

I was so focused on the making and my head was full of thinking and planning, that i totally missed to use the stencil and the texture paste…. but, this is was i´ve made with my little summer kit…

sommerprojekt-jana (1)

a ocean scene with a little 3D boat and a mermaide! i am totally in love and i am totally into trying new things, playing with dimensions and new techniques.

I started this project with fussy cutting, die cutting and heat embossing. I knew that i wanted to create a two toned background for my scene…

sommerprojekt-jana (2)

i love that lower cluster with all of the different fishes and plants. The papers i picked were all based on the stuff i can fussy cut, crazy, right?! i love to create my own embellishment with the designs from the papers.

sommerprojekt-jana (3)

Look at them, they are all totally adorable, right? the bubbles were made with sequins and i mixed both embossing powders to create a mixed color for the corals… i love the pop of orange/brown/copper!

sommerprojekt-jana (4)

I had the idea for the 3D boat as i looked through my pictures and the mermaid was just perfect, sitting in it and starring at the photo. everything worked so well.

sommerprojekt-jana (5)

check out the store for the kit bundle, so that you can create this project… if you want!

hallo ocean | alexandra renke

[werbung]
hi everyone, i have a new layout for you… this one includes some handstitching on Alexandra Renke paper from the June KreativBox, paper quilling again, such a great effect! I used a wavey cutfile from the silhouette store (design ID19372) and some ocean inspired colored cardstock… the stripes are ca. 1/4″

ocean1jana

the cute ‚curious octopi‚ Die is also available in the ARenke Store, i heat embossed them with a WOW! powder, called ‚Hero‚ (it was included in the KreativBox) the background was created with some magical powders ‚whale watch blue‚ and ‚shabby turbine teal

ocean2

the word ‚hallo‚ is also a Renke Die, i love that font! i mixed a german and a english word, but i am fine with that. the little enamel dots are just a touch of the same color as the octopi… i thought that would connect everything together…

ocean3

i used the same patterned paper (title) behind my picture, but also added some tissue paper. I really LOVE how this one turned out, please check out my YouTube Channel if you want to watch the process video! thanks!
