hi everyone, Janna Werner started a challenge, called the 30 days watercolor quotes and i was like, oh yes… i love this one! let´s join the fun!
guess what?! i failed… i made it to day 12… woooop, NOT!
when i started on this challenge, i was full of ideas and had really fun! but after a few days it was more like, „what should i paint today…?“ – „what quote do i want to use…?!“
i really enjoyed the painting and the time i spent doing that! but the process before i could start was not easy. i had no ideas and no clue how to get inspired! maybe it was not the challenge, it was not the right time for me to join! kwim?!
never mind, i want to share a few of my favorite pieces with you!
you should have a look at Janna´s Blog to see her 30 paintings… yes, she made it 😉
i´ll share some more paintings over the next days!
thanks for stopping by today
hi everyone, with the new design team that started back in march a few things changed for me… i not posting on the HKC blog anymore, or on the HKC FB Page… i joined the sketch team… we´re creating layouts on a weekly base and posting them into the member forum at facebook. it´s a fun group with challenges and sharing the work…
i already created a few layout based on some sketches, but you know how it works, right?! i don´t like to work right after the sketch, i love to flip it, cut it or change it in a few ways. let´s have a look on a few layouts from march
that was the first sketch, created by Nicole Nowosad and this is what i´ve made…
i flipped the sketch and changed it from three photos to two… added a little element cluster instead of the 3rd photo…
the next sketch was from Tarrah
i cutted the sketch into half and flipped the sides…

hi everyone, gosh my little poor blog… long time no post here. it´s not easy for me to keep this one running but i love my blog and i don´t want to quit! so let´s work on that!!
i had my 4th blog birthday back in february, can you believe that i missed it, again?! so many unposted projects, maybe i should take some time to shedule a few posts?! that would be great, right?!
so, let´s start with a new layout i created to challenge myself. i am using white for my background most of the time… so i am always a bit scared to use pattern papers or cardstock that is not white…
for this layout i grabbed a piece of black cardstock… black! so dramatic and so dark *haha
i used a lot of gesso to brighten up the black and added some color splatters and i really love how this turned out!
i worked with some leftovers from a previous HipKit and i really love the touch of gold here!
the picture is one of my favorites… i made a few in a row from strechting over yawning and then sleeping… loooooove! i started with 2 photos for this page but it did not work! i had a hard time to get them both on this layout!
have you ever tried to scrap on a dark background paper? if so, let me know 😉
here is a process video for you to watch! CLICK HERE

i wish you a lovely day

hi and hello, i am a mom of 3 boys and i am married… even the pets are all male… so, that means i am allowed to scrap all the boys with all the cute scrapbooking things, including flowers, pinks and aaaaaaaaaaaall the pretty stuff! i have a new layout and it´s about my hubby, getting his new tattoo…
and i used a lot of flowers and pink! hearts and curly fonts, not very masculine, right?! but it´s working for me 😉 i don´t even ask one of the boys for their opinion… see, it´s working!
this page was inspired by the new moodboard at the JOT blog … i also made a video, but the light was not the best and it was changing very quickly, darker and darker within a few minutes – so i needed to stop! you can watch it here – CLICK
the next page i want to share is this one…. made with the january 2017 HipKitClub Kits.
a big flower and some cute butterflies… for a lil boy!

i had some fun painting the leaves, i am always painting, or i am trying to get some things on the paper, and these turned out great so i used them on this project!

hi and hello, Jessica and i started a new little YouTube series called „lift it!“ and yes, it´s a scraplift series 😉 we´re lifting each other and we´re not telling us which one we picked for the week… know what i mean?!
This layout is from last week! Jesscia is the Queen of big bright colors, but for the first lift i choosed one without many colors! i think i´ve told you all about me and bright colors, right?!
and this is my take on it
and for this weeeeeeeeeek… i picked this one!
and my version of this colorful masterpiece
well, that was a big challenge for me! but i am so happy about how this turned out, really! the wood pieces are from ColorCastDesigns and i totally LOVE them!
here is my process video for you to watch

Hi and hello everyone, girl, this blog is a lonley one! it´s so hard for me to get this baby filled daily or even regularly!
well, let´s start with my first post in 2017…
this is a new layout with some awesome new ColorCastDesign stuff, Jessica has some stunning new things in store and you should have a look, seriously!
my hubby and i got some new tattoos last week, friday the 13th! This is my arm with my new tattoo, a cover up! i had some chinese signs on it and everyone was joking about it. something like, does it mean chicken soup?! or maybe chicken sweet/sour? so funny, NOT!
It was my plan to get a cover up for quite a while now and so it was time to finally get it!
here you can see the acrylic word „today“ from this awesome ColorCastDesing set
my tattttttoooooo!!!! BIG LOVE!
i also used bits and pieces from the „hazelwood“ collection from 1canoe2 and american crafts, paired with illustrated faith, crate paper, studio calico & pink paislee papers…a touch of simple stories… perfect! what do you think?
and there is also a process video for you to watch… our dog is barking at the end because of the postman – he brought me my new HipKitClub Kits! woot!
ok, that´s it for today!
thanks for stopping by and i wish you all a great weekend!
hi everyone, i am a mom of 3 boys… they love what i do and sometimes they want to scrapbook with me!
i have a big stash of papers i don´t want to use or paper scraps… elements i don´t like anymore or i did not used in the last 3 yrs…
i saw a layout from Paige Evans, using a lot of branding strips!! i don´t save the strips, but… well, i have enough paper to make some!
yesterday in the evening we started a little scrapbooking time and we had a lot of fun! the little one, oh my, i am so proud of him! he made a great job!
he glued aaaaaaallllll the papers down and added so many fun things to the layout! i really enjoyed the time with him!
„mom, you can add the photo if you want to…“ that´s all i was allowed to!
oh no, wait… he was not allowed to use the golden heidi shine…*snort
isn´t that a great page?!?!?!
and now to the middle one. he started more concentrated and was afraid of doing something wrong…
but after he had all the papers down he enjoyed the process and he found a creative way for his title… a mix from a flair and different stickers!
well, shit. today i´m happy!! haha!! love this guy so much!
really love what he made here!!
are you scrapping with your kids?
thanks for stopping by today!
