hi everyone, i have a new layout for you… this one includes some handstitching on Alexandra Renke paper from the June KreativBox, paper quilling again, such a great effect! I used a wavey cutfile from the silhouette store (design ID19372) and some ocean inspired colored cardstock… the stripes are ca. 1/4″

the cute ‚curious octopi‚ Die is also available in the ARenke Store, i heat embossed them with a WOW! powder, called ‚Hero‚ (it was included in the KreativBox) the background was created with some magical powders ‚whale watch blue‚ and ‚shabby turbine teal‚

the word ‚hallo‚ is also a Renke Die, i love that font! i mixed a german and a english word, but i am fine with that. the little enamel dots are just a touch of the same color as the octopi… i thought that would connect everything together…

i used the same patterned paper (title) behind my picture, but also added some tissue paper. I really LOVE how this one turned out, please check out my YouTube Channel if you want to watch the process video! thanks!

love this | Paige Evans & silhouette

Hi everyone, i am back again and I have a new layout to share with you. For this page I used two of Paige’s cut files: Love This and a Layered Butterfly. I used some bits from the new Horizon line and the Whimsical Collection.

I started by cutting the Love This from white cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo. I wanted to have the Layered Butterfly in some different pink shades so I cut the layers from Paper 02, Paper 09, and Paper 14 from Horizon then I stitched the butterflies together. I backed the open heart with a small photo from a cute little Mary Poppins. I left the other letters open because I wanted to have some white on white. Then I added mixed media to my background in two little areas. I grabbed some Shimmerz Paints Colors and a piece of plastic to smudge the color on the paper. The background turned out great and I placed the title on top of it.

Next I grabbed the Floral Die Cuts from Whimsical to add flowers; I used one of the bigger flower clusters and cut off the white boarder around it. I also had a look into the Floral Die Cuts from Horizon. I clustered the flowers together and placed some of them behind the picture. I also added some leaves and matching thread. I found a cute die cut in the Horizon Ephemera Die Cuts which I placed in one of the letters. I scattered some of the butterfly Rub-Ons from Whimsical around the flowers and the photo. I really love how easily they rub onto the paper – even on mixed media! To finish I placed Stickers and some gold heart stickers from the exclusive Project Pad.

Days of Joy | Alexandra Renke

Hallo, heute habe ich zwei weitere Seiten in meinem Days of Joy Album für euch. Ich habe mir ein paar neue Cutfiles von Alexandra Renke geschnappt und angefangen zu werkeln. De Cutfiles sind ganz neu im Shop, „merry„, „bright“ und die Schneeflocke.

Die erste Seite besteht aus den beiden Worten, die genau die Größe der DoJ Papiere haben. Da mein Album aber festgebunden ist kann ich keine Seite einfach einheften, also habe ich mir überlegt das ich die beiden kombiniere und eine große Einsteck-Tasche daraus machen.

Ich habe sie etwas dichter zusammen gesetzt, das untere Papier habe ich dazu einfach zurecht geschnitten, und es dann auf ein passendes Stück Vellum genäht. Dann habe ich mir etwas Deko Material gesucht und mir überlegt wie ich die Seite gestalten kann. Bevor ich damit angefangen habe gab es noch weiße Farb Spritzer auf das Vellum, soll ja winterlich wirken…

Die Stanzen (Bäume und Beeren) findet ihr ebenfalls bei Alexandra Renke. Die süße Eisbären Familie habe ich aus einem Design Papier ausgeschnitten. Ein paar Bäumchen, etwas Schnee und fertig ist die Seite. Ich habe die Vellum Tasche auf eine Seite mit dunklem Papier geklebt, so kommen die Wöter, der Schnee und das Vellum richtig gut zur Geltung.

Die zweite Seite hat eine große Schneeflocke mit etwas Mixed Media im Hintergrund bekommen. Goldene Farbkleckse für das festliche Gefühl…

Der kleine süße Tag ist ebenfalls aus einem Design Papier ausgeschnitten und mit ein paar kleinen Teilchen dekoriert. Der Hirsch wurde mit goldenem Embossing Pulver geschmückt und steht nun schön im Glanze…

Ich habe noch eine kleine Vellum Tasche hinzugefügt welche mit einem Tag oder Foto bestückt werden kann. Oben drauf noch eine Tasse Kakao und ein Keks… i like!
